Experiments
« on: September 25, 2015, 08:14:12 pm »

From today, trying to tame the Voigtlander 58mm F1.4, on Nikon. I think it's getting to the point of using its imperfections (not too sharp wide open, plenty of purple fringing) as positives in some shots, particularly wide open. Any other suggestions?

PS. I really want to like this lens as my first lens ever was a 58 on a Zenit, long time ago, and this does show some external similarities.

I like 'em, Armand. The lens may not be tack sharp, but the bokeh is excellent. The only place you need tack sharpness is in aerial photographs to be used to pick bombing targets.
