« on: September 15, 2015, 12:48:04 pm »

I just received my new Epson P807 today and tried to print a pano 17 inches x 48 inches and attached is what I get. I have tried this 3 times now and ythe last two times everything looked good at the start then it just stopped printing.

you may have reversed the height/width or orientation but I can tell you...........

YOU MUST CHANGE THE DRIVER

in your last image, you show that the 'Kind' is 'Airprint'.  That is *wrong*.

Delete the printer from the system and re-do it but select from the pulldown 'CUPS' or 'Epson'.

Airprint is a braindead simplified driver for printing from iPhones/iPad

Changing the driver is the very first thing to change/try.  I wouldn't doubt that the Airprint driver
has weird 'limitations' in its output

fair enough but you may well not be getting optimum quality from the printer using that driver.

caveat emptor

I had this issue...solved...one of two things seem to fix not sure which.

1) there is an option under "paper handling" I select scale to fit and the paper size I set perviously in the other dialogue.

2) There is an option in "page layout" for roll paper to Auto Rotate. I select this too.
