Strange issue with Epson 7800.
« on: September 15, 2015, 12:41:51 am »

Morning all, I hope I can get some suggestions from more experienced people here with an issue I am having. I have an Epson 7800 hooked up via ethernet. My machine specs are as follows.
Windows: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro, 64Bit
Ram: 64 GB
Motherboard: ASUS X99 Deluxe USB 3.1
CPU Info: Intel Core i7 5930K
Display Adapters: Leadtek NVIDIA Quadro K2200 4 Gb Workstation Card
Display Adaptor Driver: 353.82
Monitors: 2x; NEC MultiSync LCD2690WUXi2 1920 x 1200 via Dvi, Eizo CG277 2560 x 1440 via Displayport,
Calibrator X-Rite i1 Photo Pro2
Hard Disks:
C: 1 Tb Samsung 850 SSD for Programs
D: Asus BW 16D1HT Pro Blu-Ray Writer
E: 500Gb Samsung 850 SSD for Lightroom Catalog
F: 120Gb Samsung 850 SSD for Win10 and Adobe Swapfiles
W: 4 x 4 Gb WD Red HDs in Raid 1 + 0  8Tb size for Data
Lightroom version: CC 2015.1.1 [ 1032027 ]
Print Driver version 6.5

I have run Harveys head cleaner before printing some large files with text in them. The images were all flattened. I have also run a cleaning cycle with no blockages indicated. In LR in the develop module at 100% there is no sign of the marks that I see in the print as indicated by the two images I have attached. One is what the screen outputs and the other is the same area on the print. The lines in the font are odd.
Further to this mystery is the image size. It is 60 inches long and the psd is 1.95Gb. At one end is the image title and the other end is the photographers name. Both used the same font. As I said, the file is flattened and there is no sign of these  marks. However, only the photographers name has these artifacts, not at the other end of the print in the image title!
Does anyone have any suggestions? I have printed this twice now with the same result.
