Yes, great clouds and sky colors. Initially, I thought that the rig at the top right corner was a giraf… I need to get some more sleep  :D

Great clouds, composition, colors. Also - could be textbook illustration for cumulonimbus type cloud. A local amateur photographer is a retired NOAA - Norman OK storm center meteorologist, and occasionally entertains our club with photos of Every Cloud Type Known To Humans.

Thanks for all the comments. I decided to see what black and white for the second shot looks like. What do you think?

Nice job. I definitely like the color shots more. Upon first seeing these images, I instantly I identified with the subject and colors. Changing it to black and white completely changes mood and feels less intimate.  Besides, it seems like you were seeing the final product as color when shooting this.

I agree with Kev. I would find the B&W versions very satisfying if I hadn't seen the color ones. But I think the color really adds a lot to these.

I must admit to always having a little trouble understanding photographs of "just clouds" or just a single cloud. I love weatherscapes, landscapes, skyscapes, etc. but I always find photos like these, while beautiful and well-executed, lacking in something (context, emotional connection) to make it a "complete" photograph - like a tree photograph that only shows the trunk and branches. Perhaps, like me, this is seen as a wonderful "sketch" rather than a finished work. Great sketch! (No disrespect intended.)
