Early morning at Pessegueiro Island

This is a very picturesque location near the town of Porto Covo, in the Alentejo Coast (southwest Portugal). The past month of August has seen a fair share of misty mornings, making for interesting photographic conditions.

I was on holiday for 3 weeks, and am still going through the pics. The weather was almost always foggy and cloudy in the mornings, which made for interesting photo sessions in the coast.

I made other shots with the wide angle lens, also came out well. But to depict the island, this zoomed in version is better.

Indeed I thought about it, but then I like how the layers/tones in the sky complement/mimic the layers/tones in the sea. And the lighter top in the sky part is part of that engagement.
