No, as an Aussie, spring is here! I can't believe how much more light there is in a couple of weeks.

Cheers,

great

-natural spot light, great you are seeing different natural lighting effects, keep doing that
-comps works for a tight spot
-woods

nit

-overexposed (blown center spot) nature of our camera's DR range, trade off would be
dark trees for less blown center area underexposed, sometimes can be fixed with the fill light slider in software
or lite use of HDR

-strange color balance going from yellow center to green ?? maybe too much color saturation

As a bored Australian retiree, I welcome the return of fall season television series.

As an Aussie, spring in Sydney is fantastic. The Aussie dollar is falling, if you want to be in somewhere special at this time of year then Sydney may be the place for you!

I love spring in Sydney.

Cheers,

I am starting off in the next hour for my two week trip from Indianapolis, IN to Bar Harbor, ME.  I'll be part of a team of instructors in Bar Harbor doing fall colors in Acadia NP and then will spends another week plus on the road shooting fall colors through northern New Hampshire and Vermont.  I'll make postings in the Rantatorial section as I go and then a recap as an article when I get back.  Camera gear includes two Sony's A7 II and A7r II and a ton of lenses, Phase One IQ260 with an ALPA system and six lenses, Sony DX100 iv for candids and a Fuji X100T.  It's part of a new philosophy of Get In The Car And Go.

This is such a beautiful time of year.  Hope everyone gets out and has a little fun at least shooting fall colors.

P.S. The nice thing about driving is you can take a lot of gear.

I Am Three Time Envying You (if the envy could be a positive feeling)  :
1.For your Phase One;
2.For your so many photo gear;
3.For your trips which seem to be from so great distance very interesting.
About that new  philosophy I add my bike on the car.
PS:I never had more than one camera and three lenses plus an small fish-eye.
Thank You.
