Thanks, but yeah, I got pissed off with stupid and unpleasant anti-pro sentiment being expressed at the time, so decided to eff off and give them peace.
Why did I choose 'that thread' is the wrong question: it chose me; I wasn't aware of any particular desire to return, but did realise that much baby had gone out with my bathwater. I was looking briefly at the site on the cellphone during the space between courses at a restaurant I frequent for inexpensive lunches, and drifted onto the topic in all innocence. However, something in the mindset I found just annoyed the hell out of me in its stupidity and voluntary blindness, so I felt obliged to chip in with a simple solution to the auto-exposure 'problem' of which I can't say I've personally found much evidence; most camera eff-ups I've encountered have been my own fault, not that of the equipment. So anyway, here I am.
So far, so good!
