Another vote for #1.  Nice composition and colors.  Even on this kind of shot the light is critical.  :)

Thanks, everyone. I kinda felt #1 was not bad even in the chimp.

I have settled on 1/3 s as a preferred exposure time at this spot.

The second image is not bad, I like the blue tones of the water but the first one is outstanding.

Thanks for these latest comments. I have about 20 versions of #2, but this one seemed to have the most interesting structure.

Both are wonderful, I think my favourite is the second. Possibly because of the kayaking memories that distinct green invokes.
