i1Profiler 1.6.1 Measuring more than 1 page bug
« on: August 22, 2015, 10:55:56 am »

So it looks like I can not get more than one page in the measurement module if I set the patch layout in the test chart module to landscape with multiple pages. This is not the behavior of 1.5.7 and earlier.

Is this a serious bug or what.

Printed a bunch of targets to measure this morning with 1.6.1 and now I find I can only measure 1 page and can go no further.

So I will have to reprint all these targets with long rotated portrait page, instead of a gang of 3 9" long pages.

What a screw up!

I've noticed too that Portrait targets require less pages than Landscape and that the software always defaults to Landscape for some time.
Bug? I guess so, it certainly isn't ideal behavior. But then i1P's tendency to not be sticky is pretty legendary and annoying. For example, you pick a target for a profile, build it then quit the software or move to another workflow. Go back to the profile workflow and does that target stick? No, the software picks some silly default you've never used. We see this behavior all over the application. It's clear the people who wrote this package have little experience actually using it. Nothing new here.
