Striking use of an image. Lots of play value. I love to see such experimentations. The art in this type of thing is knowing how far from reality you want to go. This image is more design than photograph, but who's keeping score?

It looks as if you are on a roll with this. Judging from your previous postings I am guessing you will persevere for some time with this and it will be worth it.

As of yet, I've only worked with evening sky/cloud formations...long way from my inspiration...

I just realized that using a landscape image in this manner practically guarantees that the colors will "work" together. Nature teaches us pleasing color combinations whether in a "straight" photograph or a mixing together of all the elements such as this one.
