Glass is immaculate; metal lens plate (where camera attaches) shows minimal, if any, wear.
On the body there are a couple of areas where paint is missing - nothing significant - see photos; and there is some wear (loss of paint) where the lens hood attaches to the body of the lens = normal for this lens (or any super telephoto).
Note: in the photo the Canon lens hood is mounted in reversed (storage) position) over the body. If you want, I can take some photos of the hood - but don't worry, it is included in this deal. Also, the hard Canon lens case is also included in this sale - it looks brand new probably because it never left our house - but no photo of it below. If you want to see photos of the hood or the case - just ask.

Lens comes with a Wimberley lens foot ($50 value); a Lens coat (looks brand new/$100 value) and the Canon hard case...and a Don Zeck lens cap ($75 value).
