Lens Flare solution
« on: February 27, 2006, 12:53:16 pm »

Not sure if this is the right fourm, but I could use some advice.  I shoot for a local newspaper and a shot I took today has a rather ugly blotch of lens flare in one portion of it.  Happily, the flare doesn't affect the subject, per se, but does discolor some bricks on which the subject is standing and is rather distracting.  Is there any way to tweak the coloring of the bricks as to rid it of the flare?  I could easily clone out the flare, and wouldn't feel bad about usually, but this is a photo J assignment so I'm not so sure about that.  What do you think?

Also, I have a small timeframe for answers....

thanks.

Clone it. That won't make the photo any less factual.
