I prefer the other one. One thing that always bothers me in these shots are the footprints, somehow, they "destroy" the sense of the place. But not much one can do about it...

I also prefer the previous shot, it's more abstract and lets me focus on textures and lines. This one is far from bad, the visible ground - with the footsteps - conveys a completely different feeling like a path or a passage.

Thanks for your comments my friends. I really appreciate them.
It is what it is:)
There is not a single inch in this place without foot marks. I've always felt bad whenever I manipulate the scene too excessively, for example, removal of the footprints in this picture. The picture may look nicer but it gives a wrong massage.
The images can always tell me something, one way or another.

Best regards,
Pramote

I know how you feel about the footprints… I've been there and in other slot canyon and always wished for a untrodden sand.

You are contributing to the footprints being there?  ;) I like the image as it is. Without footprints then it would obviously look manipulated?

My footprints were quickly "erased" by a sand storm… But, yes, I'm 100% guilty!

I'd not seen any other monotone images of this locale or formation.

I prefer the black and white.

Thank you.

Thanks very much Michael & Jeremy! Another picture is in a separate thread.
Jeremy...You are too kind and humble. Your pictures are just fantastic. I really like the layers of the last one.
