irredeemably irascible Schewe" apparently is too modest, or perhaps too occupied being irascible, to have informed us of this, but I just discovered that the second edition of
The Digital Negative is now available for pre-order from Peachpit Press. And—very smart move, which more authors and publishers should follow—there's a discounted bundle which includes both the paper and electronic versions of the book. (I use the the first edition as a reference, and occasionally want to check something while I'm traveling.) Peachpit also throws in a modest additional discount if you fill out a short marketing survey, and covers the shipping—at least in the United States. Scheduled release date is Aug. 27.
Seriously, Jeff, I learned so much from the first edition that popping for the second, sight-unseen, was a no-brainer. Hope you do very well with it.
