Michael sez, "I found out this afternoon in an email from a reader that the 30D has a 3 second self timer with mirror lock-up in addition to the usual 10 second timer.
This is, as regular readers know, something that I've been begging Canon for for the past 5 years. I won't even say – It's about time. I'll simply say, on behalf of photographers everywhere who've been asking for this – our sincere thanks."
But I'm not sure what this means. Is it really a new drive mode that we've been asking for all these years or is it just the same as the 10D/20D which shortens the timer interval when in MLU mode?
