The picture was taken during the road trip to Acadia Nat'l Park few years ago.

I second that fully. The depth of this photo is also interesting.

I love the fog and light, this is a very atmospheric photo.

Makes me wish that I had become a mouse biologist  :D   (There's a very famous mouse genetics lab institute in Bar Harbor, Jackson Labs - even more famous among the biogeek set than the Acadia Nat. Park).

I've been to Bar Harbor many times, but I never saw a mouse.   :(

Great atmosphere and light, well captured.

If there weren't any distractions I wouldn't have minded a slightly wider view with a bit more room between the outer boats and the border, but obviously don't know if that would have been possible.

Thanks very much guys for your warm welcome.
I remember it was raining and there was no one there. The Nikon D800e temporally died few days after that. The 70-200 VR II proved to be water sealed.

Lovely image. The mist is nicely complemented by the clouds, and the light is fantastic.

Very nice image composed very well.  I cannot imagine the feeling you had when your 800e had a bad hiccup.

Jeremy/Victor...Thanks very much for your kind words. That's the 1st time, digital camera died on me. Luckily, I've had a backup, otherwise, the entire trip'd be ruined.

Wonderful. I like the composition, don't find it busy at all. Lots of complementing elements, and especially no boats cut at the edges, or overlapping.

Beautiful, enough said. The composition, the lightings, they all work together! :D
