Soft Proof checkbox missing---LR6?

Has the check-box for 'Soft Proof', found at the bottom of the Develop Module window in Lightroom 5, been made unavailable in that location in Lightroom 6?
My friend w/ LR6 can't find it.  I still have LR5, so I can't be sure whether I should laugh at him.... or not.

click on the T key to show the tool bar.

And if you see the toolbar and it's not on there you have to select it (checkbox) on the drop-down menu you get when pressing the down arrow on the far right side of the toolbar.
