Estimating and billing software recommendation
« on: July 01, 2015, 12:27:35 pm »

I have been using Blinkbid since 2006.I honestly love using Blinkbid estimating and invoicing software and my clients love the look of it too.

Not only does Blinkbid make my estimating, invoicing, tracking payments, and doing taxes easier, Blinkbid forms get compliments from my graphic design and corporate clients on how easy it is to understand my estimates and invoices. I hear from them all of the time and several have said they wish that some of the other photographers they get estimates from used it too. For the July 4th weekend Blinkbid is having a sale and you'll save $60.00.

(Full disclaimer: As you can see from the link, I'm not being totally altruistic here. Use me as a referral I'll get a $25.00 gift card.)

But even if you don't give me credit for the referral using Blinkbid will up your game.

here's the link:http://blinkbid.com/refer/

I did a trial of Blinkbid about a year ago and it kept crashing whenever I tried to do trial estimates using their suggested stock rates. Blinkbid sort of tried to help but really didn't seem to know what the problem was. Ended up going with Fotobiz/Fotoquote, which I find to be pretty clunky.

might be worth trying again. The have updated it since then. I also triedFotobiz/Fotoquote and before that there was a free estimating/invoicing software from Tom Zimberhoff. which wasn't good. And before that, throughout the '90s I used Hindsight.
