Stu, for what it's worth your price is more than fair--I just sold the exact same lens on ebay for $1000+

Thanks for the note about the price being fair.  This lens is listed by Canon as an acceptable lens for the new 5DS & 5DS R camera bodies.  And it should be.  It is still available.
