Interesting in that I'm trying to understand the image. But, at the same time, uninteresting.

I am forced to look more closely and what catches my eye (aside from the wires going straight across the photograph - so straight, in fact, they could be emulsion scratches on film) are the seemingly odd, mostly hidden linear structures (ghostly stone fences?) running across the image in the vegetation on the far side of the drive/road and in the shadows of the trees towards the top right.

I like the photo inasmuch as I interpret it as a "document" of what was there. In this regard, I am attracted to the relationship between the woods/greens, and the man made structures: the wood barn and the wood fence.

These last two offer a strong composition, as they are located at opposite locations in the image, and are visually linked with the path.

The layout and the elements are there.

I'm not a fan of "high, noon-day sun". I think that there would be better tones in the greens, especially the corn, with a polarizer.

And don't feel alone, we all have something to learn.
