Lightroom CC nightmare
« on: June 16, 2015, 08:11:22 pm »

I installed LR CC on my desktop, and even updated today to the latest version--no problems

The same LR CC on  my laptop crashes with opening repeatedly.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times with no relief.  Spent 7-8 hours on Phone today with Adobe and Apple with no resolution in sight.  Not only does it crash, but it freezes my MAc as well--have to hard restart to get out of this.

Frustration is major.  About 2 weeks ago I even erased and install a clean version of Yosemite.

ARGHHHHH!!!

Have you tried disabling the GPU in Lightroom Preferences. see screen capture. It worked for me on my Mac Book Pro.

I think you have to go to the Adobe CC pull down menu in the top bar on your desktop and sign OUT of CC. Then, you sign in again. If this does not make sense, go to the Adobe Support forum for CC and there should be instructions.
