Saltwick Bay

Hoping for a glorious sunset but as often happens it didn't transpire. Misread the tide tables so could not get to this spot until just after the sun had set. This is one of the few spots on the East Coast of England where the sun sets over the sea but only in high summer and this spot can only be reached for 2 hours either side of low tide. Anyway I think that it makes a pleasant monochrome.

Very fine shot.
I have to wonder whether the shot you wanted, with the glorious sunset, might have been a bit clichéd, and thus less interesting than the one you got.

Nice shot. I agree with Eric that this is likely much better than a sunset version. Although if there's a lot of colour in the rocks ..............
Well worth another visit for some close-ups of the hull and what looks like the engine.

Very nice. Eric & Kerry are right, no sunset needed.
