New Dell U2415 monitor arrived today and in the box is a sheet labeled:
"U2415 Color Calibration Factory Report"
It provides a "Gray Scale Tracking" graph (Color Temp 0-10000K) vs Gray level (0-255), a "Gamma" graph showing gray level brightness (0-400) vs Gray Value (0-255) and a Delta E*CIE94 report showing various colours(?) on a scale of 0-10 ("Ave Delta E <= 3.0")
Down the bottom is this note:
"Calibrations were done according to Dell-approved test procedures using calibrated equipment at the factory production line. This report is provided only with and for a new Dell U2415 UltraSharp monitor. Results may vary with other test equipment, setups and test patterns. Please retain this report for your reference as Dell is unable too reproduce it or provide a duplicate."
So all of that sounds a bit flash... does anyone here have experience with these monitors and/or know how to use the above information?
