Interesting indeed. When viewed at the thumbnail size it takes on an architectural look, like a shot of the inside of a cylindrical parking ramp, for instance.

One thing's for sure: I don't have the vision or the guts to try stuff like this! Keep up the experimenting! :)

Thanks for asking that question, Dave.

I wanted to explore passage of time--what happens during a 60-second span. The interplay between sky, horizon, sea, and beach-goers is interesting to watch. My background in visual perception, film, and photo-animation have a lot to do with how I observe things.

I knew where and how to start. The process of making the final image involved a lot of time just staring at the pictures right out of the camera. I then began building the image, one step at a time. I had a general idea of how I wanted it to look. After many hours of fiddling around with the pieces in post, the parts/elements began to align just right.

The 20" X 25" print came out well.
