Interestingly I note the UK prices are very similar, without adding our VAT sales tax which a business user can reclaim.

I do bemoan the lack of "new" additions to the UK list, some appear to languish for ages with no price reduction as an incentive but I suppose given the relative size of the market the UK list is not bad. I just wonder if the lack of new blood is less rental bodies being renewed or lack of trade up sales?
Teamwork in London, who have had mentions here before have Phase one backs P45 and P25 they have been sitting on, perhaps literally given the video, since before Christmas with no great reductions. (They have reduced a P45 by £500 but, and I know no moving parts, it is around 500K activations) Do dealers not want to take a smaller cut and move inventory on these days?
What are we bottom fishers supposed to do  ;D

This reminds me of days past when every second hand photo shop had a top shelf of pricey Nikon F3's that never moved and would never get cheaper.

Which is typical of goods whose real value have dropped quickly.

Second hand retailers bought at too high a price and aren't willing to sell with a loss.

Cheers,
Bernard

Actually, it was the opposite, Nikon kept the F3 in its catalog forever, and was selling new ones, and no one with money wanted a used one at 70% of new.
Oh wait, that reminds me of medium format backs.
