I understand where your coming from but still do not buy into that mixture theory,totally.
Your skewing the data.
Figuring 2 ounces of finish per coat. 2 coats of gloss at 100% each and the final coat of 75% gloss and 25% matte.
Thats 5.5 ounces of gloss and .5 ounce of matte.
91% gloss and 9% matte. Of course it retains the clarity.
So my 90 gloss 10% matte mixture is exactly the same as yours except for the difference in application/mixture.
Looks great and that is all that matters.
