No, not a "Joshua Tree" but a quick stop by the Cholla Cactus Garden in the park. Lots of fun photo op's in the garden.

Right at the boundary of the Colorado (Sonoran) Desert and the Mojave, on the main north-south road about in the center of the park.
Do not where shorts or sandles if you wander about:-)

Chollas! I spent a lot of time roaming around Anza Borrego east of San Diego. Chollas are the devil incarnate, once hooked they don't let go. And they will penetrate soft-sole walking shoes. Trust me, I know. BTW, I like your photograph.
