There's a nice sense of the eagle's wing strength in your photo. I like the dynamism. Well done.

Thank you all for your kind comments, it was a lucky timing.

Nancy, this fellow was just skimming the surface, and flapping his wings as little as possible, just to to keep above water.
Usually, when they see a fish, they would swoop down on an angle (even without getting wet), and if they do land on the water, for the brake effect they raise their wings.

Very, very well done.  If you're attributing this to some degree to luck, then this may be an example of "the harder you work, the luckier you get."

It's a privilege to watch Our National Symbol, particularly because I remember reading Rachel Carson as a kid, what with the eagle eggshells being softened by DDT.

I was thinking about adding a water lily and a couple of beavers in one of the corners, but after receiving such a great feedback, I'm not going to mess with it.
