Tripod Question

I have a lighter Manfrotto Tripod, which is nice for traveling. However, I need something a lot heavier for studio and landscape work, where packing the weight isn't really an issue.

I have this tripod now: Manfrotto 3001N

I want a much heavier tripod, and I want it to have the option of 90 degree center peice for top down shooting.

I was thinking about this one, but since I can't touch it, I was wondering if any of you would think it would be a enough improvement over my current tripod to make a real difference.

I have actually seen and played with the 3021 Pro at the local shop, and it is much beefier, but still not tons more beefier than my 3001N.

Any other sugestions?

I have a 3001, which I use on trips.  I've taken out the center column for backpacking and canoeing though.  I really don't think that you'll gain much from the 3001 to the 3021, at least, not what you really want.

I use a Gitzo 1340 or 1440.  I don't remember which one I bought.  At any rate, the thing is beefy and solid.  If I were buying today, I'd probably get the carbon fiber version of it.  You can add a center column later if you need one.  I can highly recommend this tripod for a good one that will do both.  I'm not sure if you can add wheels to it though.
