Slideshow problem

No.  No problems here.  LR6 (LRCC)  MacOS10.10.3

I'm sure that's no help either.

You expect an answer within 8 hours when most of the contributors are asleep and you provide absolutely no information about what system you're using and how you encounter the problem ?
You deserve all the help you got.

Are you able to play a full screen slideshow within Lr CC (not preview but play)? On my Win7 Pro with dual monitors the slideshow gets stuck on the playback screen and the only way to return control is to Ctrl+Alt+Del. I had exactly the same negative reaction as Rhossydd to your second post. No-one owes you an answer, but that's certainly how it came over. Check your attitude, or change how you express yourself.

No, can't play the slideshow. A window comes up saying there's a problem, and then Lightroom shuts down completely. When I hit the Preview option, the preview bar fills up as it should, but at the end of that process, the same warning comes up and LR shuts down.

Yes, single NEC PA271 and plays full screen w/ no issues.
