searching for a photographer.
« on: February 03, 2006, 03:24:26 am »

hey all.

this is driving me crazy.

in september i found a photojournalists web page that was so inspirational...a bit morbid...but still amazing, but now i can't remember what his name is.

what i can remember.

he won the 2004 (maybe5) young photojournalist of the year award
he's european...doesn't speak english in his videos...maybe he does but with a heavy accent
he shoots for national geographic ( i think) and he's booked out for the next 5 years
he shot an article called searching for the light or similar about a blind childrens orphanage in africa
he shot the african mental institution...but i can't remember what it was titled...
he has black hair........brain fade....ahh i can't remember anything else.

i know it's very bvague but from memory he's very famous in the circle.....any ideas?

i'm out of thoughts.

and sorry if this is in the wrong forum haha. 3.30am....sorry...
