Title: Epson print academy?

I thought for $49 and a Saturday, how much can you lose? But if it's REALLY not so good...I might take a pass.

Track 1 (the $50 one) has allot of big names but most of them look to be videos of people talking. If they are the same videos that came with the Epson Online Experience (which is technically a $30 rental regardless of what they tell you), then they are good and interesting videos. Nothing you'll learn much from but intriguing none-the-less (mostly generic talk about the art and Epson P-1000 advertisements).

Someone with a bit more knowledge on that track will have to speak on what exactly you get. I've signed up for the second track in LA. For $100 it should be a great opportunity to learn some good stuff and meet and pick the minds of the likes of Mr. Shewe and Mr Fraser amongst others.

I went to this a year or 2 ago.  I found the videos interesting.  But what I found most informative was talking to the instructor (I forget who it was, but he was a pro photog) afterward and listening to him answer the questions others had.

Last year I bought the 29.95 Epson On-Line experience (which you download on watch on your computer) and found it very interesting and educational.
