Re: Lr6 shipped.
Very Good! I actually wondered for a second if it could be true.
Any new gaudy Hasselblads, Leicas, or other "special edition" cameras?
And I wonder - the Phase One 80MP small camera for drone - that was a April Fool's Eve release. Real? Joke?

Canon just announced a 80mp camera with a low-light sensor 10 times more sensitive than Sony's. It also has a flip-up, rotating LCD touchscreen live view screen. Retail price $1000 US. Limited quantities available only on April 1 2015.

In case you didn't read it in todays NY Times, I have just been voted the World's Greatest Photographer! :D
For those who want the details, here are the complete voting results:
Eric Myrvaagnes: 1 vote
Peter Lik 0 votes.

(Voting took place at my computer, just after I read Nancy's post here.)

Enjoy!

I am enjoying my 800mm, f/1.4 lens. $39.

No doubt you have benefited from the (Tm) Olympic Grade 5 Minute Miracle Exercise Machine, operated 5 minutes a day from your TV couch, that has enabled you to do handheld bird-in-flight shots. After all, that lens has to weigh a LOT. Do you know if B&W, SinghRay, or Lee makes the 571mm diameter CPL? Naah, surely they must have a drop-in CPL for the lens.

Nice of the Martians to do some beta testing…
Yes, but on Mars. Availability on planet Earth isn't set yet.

There was an announcement of a new, ultra-high dynamic range camera today:
