Title: Really Right Stuff BH-55 experiences?
Post by: Leigh Perry, Sydney on January 09, 2006, 06:18:23 am
Hi Michael & other BH-55 users.

I've experienced some recurring problems with my Arca B1 ball head (see this thread (http://www.largeformatphotography.info/lfforum/topic/504549.html) on the large format forum).

I'm wondering if the RRS ball head has retained its appeal after 18 months of field use? Have any problems shown up over time?

Thanks.
Leigh

Leigh,

I've had mine for a year or so. No problems have turned up at all. It is a pleasure to use. I have several RRS brackets of different types for my camera collection; and I use a RRS QR plate atop my monopod as well.

I have found the company to be responsive and friendly at all times.

I seem to recall, however, a recent thread here about some problems someone had here with, I think it was, a BH40 ballhead. In the interest of full investigation, perhaps you could search for that thread and/or that person will chime in again.

best,
