Hi all,
I've created some charts that organize Photoshop-compatible plug-ins and other creative imaging applications by functionality with links to interface screenshots and original examples. There's also a free companion ezine with digital imaging tutorials and additional plug-in/application information.
Access to everything is free; no registration is required.

Enjoy!

Thanks for the heads-up... I've bookmarked it.
I've always hoped for a comprehensive website about photoshop plugins.
-
You're welcome! I'm glad you find it useful. I too find the charts helpful so I can see what plugin effects I've got on hand!
Any suggestions as to what I might add/adjust/etc.?
-
well, I think it's very helpful in the sense of knowing about your photoshop plugin options, but image processing is a rapidly improving field... I think that having a section on each directory, such as in Creative Image Effects or Image Enhancement, showing the most recently added/updated plugins would be very helpful. I don't know about everyone else, but I like to know about the latest competing technologies when i'm choosing what to try out. Also, writing about a few certain plugins which shine above the rest would be very helpful.

I can try putting a tag in red next to plugin names in the charts to indicate when the plugins are initially released or updated by the developers.
For instance, see http://plugsandpixels.com/imageeffects.html (http://plugsandpixels.com/imageeffects.html) (scroll down to Masking section). DFT zMatte was just updated (I have it but haven't created the page yet). Does that work?

Just a heads-up that the URL for Plugs 'N Pixels has changed slightly due to a domain renewal adventure (the original domain may yet renew next week; we shall see. If so, it will be forwarded to the new one).
New URL: www.plugsandpixels.com (http://www.plugsandpixels.com)
Please update your bookmarks! All hyperlinks in the ezines have been updated and every revised issue was reposted on 12/7.
-
And now issue #8 is ready for download:
http://www.plugsandpixels.com/ezine.html (http://www.plugsandpixels.com/ezine.html)
If you like to create your own landscapes (as opposed to finding them to shoot), please note the new Vue 6 Infinite and Terragen 2 spreads.
Enjoy!

I'd like to invite those of you on the LL forum to submit your landscape images treated with any single plug-in (or any combination thereof) for possible publication in a future issue of the Plugs 'N Pixels ezine (and also on the companion Plugs 'N Pixels website's Gallery page).
There is no cost or payment involved, but you will receive worldwide exposure with an artist credit and a link to your relevant website if you desire.
Please email up to three JPEGs (up to about 9x12 @ 72ppi, high quality compression) and a paragraph or two about the product and technique used to plugsnpixels -at- gmail.com OR refer me to an existing image or images on your website that I can download.
I'm looking forward to seeing what we come up with!
