Title: Lake Worth Pier On Google images!
Post by: catfish on December 23, 2005, 12:19:32 am
Last night I was just googling around and I tried Lake Worth Pier images. I was really surprised at the quality of the photos.    I sent a few to a friend in St. Pete.

I came back again tonight, I'm waiting to get some glossy paper so I can print the ones I want.

In the spring of 1975 I was hitchhiking to Miami and I took a beach break in Lantana Beach, the next beach south of Lake Worth Beach.  I was walking north, headed for the pier when a beautiful blonde offerred me a beer.    She had taken to afternoon off to look for a guy.  We spent weekends and evenings together on the beach for a couple weeks and then decided to share an apt. in Lake Worth.

We would get up at 5 AM and take a thermos of coffee and go to the pier to watch the sunrise quite often, having breakfast at the coffeeshop when it opened before we went to our respective jobs.

I used to go skinny dipping until sunrise once in a while.  Lake Worth Pier is where my friend is going to throw my ashes when I die.

The shots of the pier are great, the one of the north crosswalk before sunrise is fantastic. I am going to print them and put them on the wall.  Memories!

I am not a photographer but I have been working with exotic hardwoods, writing instruments and bowls, etc. so I bought a digital camera to put photos of my work on the web.  Then I lost the lease on my shop and decided to leave the exotic wood alone since the tropical rainforests are being do badly poached.

I have an Olympus point and shoot. a Stylus 300 3.2 megapixel camera but I don't use it much now.

I found out about this forum and wanted to write and give my compliments for the Lake Worth Pier photos.

Many compliments and thank you so much for the photos that are so dear to my heart.
