What is/are the affect/affects of ultraviolet light on film (Velvia) exposed without a UV filter in a locale where there is LOTS of UV light?

Asking questions about film on this site is like speaking Manadrin in Swaziland. I bet many here don't even know what Velvia is.

Anyway, without a UV filter, the image may appear more 'cold' than normal. Here's a article for you to read: Photo.net article on UV filters (http://www.photo.net/equipment/filters/).
