Title: HP B9180

My B9180 is getting old now and has not been serviced or cleaned properly in its life. It still works even now and a good clean and new heads would make it perfect again. I would like to continue using it so first question is:

Is there a service manual available for it?

I bought it because there was no need to change ink for BnW, the NEDD and self service cycle. It has been a great printer. Second question:

What A3+ printer could I replace it with that gives such good results and is cheap and convenient to run?

Canon Pixma Pro 100 - less than $100 USD after rebates...and with free paper packs thrown in.

It is a dye printer though...your HP is pigment...

DPR (Printer section) via Joe Toolman does excellent reviews/comments on this printer

At least with the pigment inks I've used prints can get ruined by water spots and fade when on display. Maybe the more recent inks are better in this respect. All that i have read says pigment inks are better for longevity although not quite as good as dye inks for colour. I was always happy with the output of the HP.

I stand to be corrected though.
