This topic is for discussion of the image and commentary found in Michael's Phlog (http://www.luminous-endowment.org/pages/phlog1.html) titled Bales and Approaching Storm (http://www.luminous-endowment.org/pages/phlog2.html).

Lovely image, Michael.  The subtle tones of the clouds really add a wonderful feeling to this image.

Fantastic conditions you had, thanks for the explanation. I rather like the finger-like leaves in the bottom of the original image as shot - I feel they invite me in. Did you consider including these and cropping off the top of the sky? Regards.

I love this new Phlog idea and this image in particular. It really helps to get the reasoning behind the specific settings used, as well as what drew you to capture the image.
