Title: Request to Michael: Workflow Update
Post by: llama on September 27, 2005, 03:51:05 pm
While perusing the always helpful site the other day, I re-read the An Image Processing Workflow Tutorial (http://www.luminous-landscape.com/tutorials/workflow1.shtml) and observed that it ripe for an update.

When Michael first wrote it, he was using PS7 and barely touched the subject of RAW to TIFF conversion. Given the appearance of CS2 and the capabilities of the newest Adobe Camera Raw, I'd be willing to bet that Michael's approach has changed.

If you're with me in hoping that Michael can find some time to let us know about his current workflow and how it has evolved, let the big guy know.

Thanks for the great site Michael and congrats on the "The Brickworks" project.

You're right. It is long overdue for an update.

But, if you're interested, Issues #12 and #13 of the Video Journal have an extensive and much more up-to-date workflow tutorial, including looks at Camera Raw, Capture One, sharpening, noise reduction and more.

I'll definitely check those out Michael, but I'm sure a lot of us here, would appreciate a print version in your usual, entertaining prose.

Thanks again!
