Trying to convert a folder of CR2 files to DNG. LR Library - Select the first file then Shift-Select the last. Select Library > Convert to DNG...
In the dialog:
[ ] Delete source
-------------------
Ext = DNG
Compatibility=7.1 and later
JPEG=Medium
[ ] Lossy Compression
[ ] Embed original Raw
Only the first selected Raw file will be converted, the others remain CR2. I saw a post that said to restart LR (4.x) and this fixed the issue, but this is not working for me. I tried un-checking "Only Raw Files" - which seemed like a nonsensical option - but the results were the same. I checked the folder in windows explorer and the DNG files do not exist. I can only conver one file at a time.
Windows 7 Pro 64bit
Thanks for any help.

Select the first file then Shift-Select the last.
DNG Converter converts FOLDERS of files, not selected files. Select the folder and then convert.

I figured it out. I was selecting the images on monitor #2. I always have the Grid view on the 2nd monitor and the Loupe view on 1st (the better monitor). As soon as I set the Gird view on the 1st monitor everything is working as expected.
Thanks!

You can convert a single file or multiple files to DNG. It does not have to be a folder. Been doing this for a while.

Within LR correct. Select and convert. For the standalone converter, it's the entire folder.

I very rarely convert a folder. I am used to selecting all in Bridge or the finder if I have to do the whole folder. Even if its separate files, I then drag and drop on the standalone application. I didn't now that you could not pick and choose within the app. Thanks,
