I know the more more recent Eizo CG and the higher end NEC's have a larger gamut, but here's why I like my four and a half year Eizo CG222W

I guess it doesn't get much use if it's only on 3070 hours so the backlight is still in excellent condition. Some of the older LCD's I've seen have literally gone yellow from age; not sure if it's worth getting new CCFL backlights for them.

13.5 hours per working week average over the period - sounds like pretty reasonable use, assuming a photographer is spending time photographing the other half of the week, plus general admin and travel etc.

The CG222W is not my primary display. I do most of my work on a 27" white LED backlit iMac (late 2009 model.)
