Title: Lightroom 5 trouble importing GPS data

Hello all,

Suddenly, not having had this issue before today, when I import files (Canon raw) from my hard drive into a LR Catalog, the GPS data is not being transferred, although the rest of the EXIF data is.  When I look at the file in Bridge, all the GPS data is there. Anyone else having this problem? Any thoughts would be welcome!

Ian, are you using a metadata template on import.
If you are then that is where the problem will be.

Thanks Tony,

In the "Apply during import" panel, both Develop Settings and Metadata are set at "none."  I also realize that I probably should have posted this in the Lightroom forum - didn't notice that when I made my initial post.
