A fair number of those represent necessities in our journey towards adequacy.       ;D

Adequacy is not the final stop on the path toward becoming an artist.

No, you're correct...more of a way station.  One could argue that there is no endpoint to the journey.      ;)

The journey with no end is the joy of the journey...

Maybe even being an artist is not the final stop toward being an artist.

You bet....there is no final stop, until death. If one is lucky that inevitable turn could propel one into immortality .. and we go on and on and on and on.......etc.

@Peter,

Is there an online link to this, or did you create this list yourself?  I would like to pass it on to my photographic cohorts...

Simply that occasional failures are a prerequisite in our journey towards being an adequate photographer.    ;)

Who would want to be an "adequate" photographer? Every time I go down town I see the work of "adequate" photographers in the windows of local purveyors of portraits and wedding pictures.

Do not presuppose that adequacy is one's aspiration, rather than a stage of development.   ;D
