Title: Photo Book
Post by: jgcox on February 19, 2014, 01:39:05 pm
I'm self publishing a photo book as in the near future and could use some advice before I go through with it. The idea is that it's a large number of prints in an E-Book format that are meant to be printed out at 4x8-7x10 size. The E-Book will be available for download for a small fee; I'm calling it "Cut Me Up".
Has anyone ever done something like this? I'm trying to do something similar to market via a poster, where the consumer pays for your advertising. The problem I have is that there will be a lot of work images here and I'm unsure if I want to let that go.

Any advice welcome.
-thanks,
John.

interesting. I would likely want to know how many people would actually print a book from it. I'm sure some, but it would be interesting to do a survey of public response. Also the UI to the printer would have to be a simple couple clicks to get the print job sent. (If I understood your post correctly).

I like the idea, and the concern is valid as well. Specially when releasing large clean versions of the image.
