I am planning to start doing some of my B&W printing myself.
Hardware will be an Epson Pro 4900 and a Mac Mini (fully loaded) or a Mac Pro (base). I am shooting with H4D40 and Leica Monochrom.
However, I have no clue which monitor to go for. How can I get good calibration in B&W?

NEC PA242, PA272W and PA302W have the best white point calibration out there:

Thanks, Marcin.
I saw also an article that Eizo monitors are now calibrated for Hasselblad / Phocus. Does that give me an advantage for B&W or only for color?

No, it doesn't give you any advantage, it's there only for marketing purpose
