Title: Aktau, Kazakhstan
Post by: Paulo Bizarro on February 10, 2014, 05:22:47 am
I recently visited this town for a business trip. The weather was cold, between -10 and -20 centigrade, so there was some ice in the Caspian sea shoreline, and later on some snow. These are some photos I took in the beach, with the EOS 6D and 50mm lens.

Regards.

Beautiful images.
#1: Iconic, simple - I like it
#2: Doesn't do much for me.
#3: Beautiful color and composition - I like it.
#4: Great shot!  You might want to darken the ice very slightly though - it looks almost burned.

Good stuff!
Cheers

Love the third fourth image a lot, mostly because it combines a very nice landscape, dramatic mood and wildlife.
The first image is powerful and free of distractions, very elegant.
