Title: Did something get corrupted?
Post by: D. King on January 09, 2014, 06:08:23 pm
I just upgraded to Light Room 5 but something is standing between me and my hard drives.  By that I mean that when I attempt to import images from my Compact Flash card the system keeps redirecting the import to a different target drive.  For example, when I set the target drive as G the download stops and I get a message that disk D is full and I can't import to it.  As it turns out, disk D is full and has been for a long time.  But I'm not targeting D.  Both G and D are internal but separate internal HD's.  I've tripled checked and everything is set properly.  It appears something in the system is 'redirecting' the import.

This is way beyond my technical knowhow.  Is it possible something to do with the path or some kind of permissions has been corrupted?  Any ideas?  Thanks.

This is a silly question, but is the option to make a backup copy to D: drive turned on in LR?
If it is turned on, maybe lightroom tries to make a second copy to D: drive, and returns this error ?
