I swiped the Subject from a new article by Thom Hogan. Here's a link to it, with the caveat of my definition of prognostication from another thread here: an attempt to will a desired outcome into being by forcefully stating it to as broad an audience as possible. That said, IMO Thom is less agenda peddlar and more data analyst than most.

An interesting article.
I was agreeing with all of it until:
" Whoever was at the core of the RX-10 design did a lot of things very, very right." Has he actually owned and used one ? The camera is really excellent because of it's specification, but despite it's design. Putting the power switch next to the shutter release and making them both the same shape ? There's nothing right about that.
