What are some excellent books for printing photographs using Epson printers. If there are book(s) that apply specifically to Epson 3880 printers, that would be even better. Please suggest book(s) that you've used and can recommend.
If it makes a difference, I'll sometimes be using ColorBurst's X-Proof Plus RIP for 17" printers.
Are there any publications that emphasize printing monochromes using Advance B&W on 3880's? (I might occasionally also use QuadToneRIP.)

The Digital Print by Jeff Schewe. A member of this forum too.

Hi Neil,
Happy New Year to You.
I would love to see you at PPF one of these days. Many of us can answer specific questions about the 3880. I use one but not with Colorburst, though I and others have experience with QTR. I agree with Ernst that Jeff Schewe's printing book is quite excellent, I have it and could bring it to a PPF meeting for you to look at. I use it too often to loan it though.

There is also the book "Fine Art Printing" by Uwe Steinmueller and Juergen Gulbins. Published by rockynook.

Hello,
Take Jeff Schewe's Book and I bet almost no question stays unanswered !
But, consider to read it twice at minimum to be sure to have ingest all information provided. These books (' the digital negative' and 'the digital print' belong together for me ) are one of the most powerful source of information about digital image processing I've read during the last years.
Best wishes Robert

There is also video session with Jeff on this web site called Camera to Print, which is pretty good.

I would second the recommendation to read Jeff Schewe's books. Both his books, on printing and on the digital negative, I would regard as essential reading for anyone shooting digitally.
